YUU Event – York chapel open for York Residents’ Festival weekend

The Chapel will be open for York Residents’ Festival weekend.

St Saviourgate Unitarian chapel is a Grade II* listed 17th century chapel, reputedly the earliest load-bearing brick building and oldest surviving nonconformist chapel in York.

The only chapel in England with equal ‘arms’. Internal alterations in Victorian times, and modernisation in the 21st century. There will be an Exhibition about naturalist Charles Darwin,1809-1882, celebrating 210 years since his birth.

Quizzes are available for the children of all ages.

Tea and coffee and biscuits will be served all day.
